Russian farmers defy ban on GMO crops

By Stop GMO disinformation

"I can't work like this.  The cheaters are ruining my business.  The seeds from their GMO farms are blowing onto my fields and corrupt Putin officials just look the other way."  says a Russian farmer who refused to give his near for fear of reprisal.

According to a leak from a high level insider at the Russian ministry of agriculture, more than 50% of Russian farmers openly defy the "ban" on GMOs and Monsanto's black market sales have reached an all time high.  "This isn't a failure of the policy, it works this way by design.  Putin gets to claim credit for being an anti-GMO crusader while farmers do what they want.  It's a win-win from his perspective."

Those familiar with exposures of corruption by Putin and his friends won't be surprised.  Earlier this year the Panama Papers showed that Putin and his associates laundered more than 2 billion dollars in illicit bank accounts, much of which ended up secretly invested in Monsanto.

Actions speak louder than words.  We can safely conclude that Putin's actions expose him for the hypocrite he is.  Just like many world leaders these days.
