Monsanto Insider: Putin Invested 400 Million In Our Company

by Stop GMO Disinformation

A company insider describing Monsanto's work culture as "fascistic and intolerable" has dropped a bombshell that should dishearten everyone concerned with protecting our food supply.  According to a woman who only wants to be known as "Sally,"  Vladimir Putin invested US$ 400 million, with more than half earmarked for research and development activities.  Accordring to Sally, the funds originated from an account handled by Sergei Roldugin, a close friend of Putin.

While many may be surprised by the news, given that in May 2014 Putin referred to Monsanto as a "terrorist organization," Putin has a long history of broken promises and double speak.  Putin propaganda mouthpiece Global "Research" will no doubt angrily deny the revelations.

It's long been an open secret in Russia that farmers openly defy Russia's so-called "ban" on GMOs, as explained here.  Even Putin's "anti-corruption" efforts have been tainted.  As reported in the Daily Mail, Putin's anti-corruption chief was found with 122 million dollars cash in his home.

What can be done about this?  First, we need a reality check.  Faith in leaders is likely to lead to dissapointment and disillusionment as it has so many times before.  We need to do our own research on issues of food safety and stop waiting for others to take action.

Russian farmers defy ban on GMO crops

By Stop GMO disinformation

"I can't work like this.  The cheaters are ruining my business.  The seeds from their GMO farms are blowing onto my fields and corrupt Putin officials just look the other way."  says a Russian farmer who refused to give his near for fear of reprisal.

According to a leak from a high level insider at the Russian ministry of agriculture, more than 50% of Russian farmers openly defy the "ban" on GMOs and Monsanto's black market sales have reached an all time high.  "This isn't a failure of the policy, it works this way by design.  Putin gets to claim credit for being an anti-GMO crusader while farmers do what they want.  It's a win-win from his perspective."

Those familiar with exposures of corruption by Putin and his friends won't be surprised.  Earlier this year the Panama Papers showed that Putin and his associates laundered more than 2 billion dollars in illicit bank accounts, much of which ended up secretly invested in Monsanto.

Actions speak louder than words.  We can safely conclude that Putin's actions expose him for the hypocrite he is.  Just like many world leaders these days.
